This Privacy Policy describes how Lead Machine ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, lead-capture forms, and services (collectively, the "Service"). We are a lead-generation platform operated by Halo Peak Technologies.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
a. Information you provide directly. When you fill out a contact or lead form on one of our websites, we collect:
Name
Phone number
Email address
ZIP or postal code (if requested)
Free-text message content
b. Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites, we automatically collect:
IP address and approximate location
Browser type and device information
Page views and referring URLs
Click and interaction events (phone-link clicks, form-field focus events, form submissions)
Timestamps of activity
c. Information from third-party advertising platforms. If you arrive at our sites by clicking an advertisement on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or another platform, we receive:
The platform's click identifier (e.g., gclid from Google, fbclid from Meta)
UTM campaign parameters
Referring domain
2. How We Use Your Information
To respond to your inquiry. When you submit a lead form, we use your contact information to contact you about the service you requested.
To measure and improve ad performance. We share event data (such as "Lead submitted") with Google Ads and Meta using their respective conversion APIs, so advertising platforms can measure which ads produced leads and optimize future delivery.
To prevent fraud and spam. IP addresses and form-submission patterns help us identify and block abusive traffic.
To communicate with you. If you opt in, we may send service-related emails; we do not send unsolicited marketing.
To comply with law. We may disclose information if required by subpoena, court order, or legal process.
3. Data We Share With Third Parties
We do NOT sell your personal information. We share limited data with the following categories of third parties:
Advertising platforms: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and similar platforms — we share hashed contact information (SHA-256 of your email and phone) and event-level data so these platforms can measure conversions and improve ad targeting. This is done through standard APIs such as the Meta Conversions API and Google Ads Enhanced Conversions.
Email delivery: Resend (resend.com) for transactional email.
Infrastructure providers: Linode (Akamai) for hosting, Cloudflare for CDN, OpenAI for AI-generated content.
The business owner of the lead form: If you submitted a lead, your contact information is delivered to the business owner who operates the website and the lead form, so they can follow up with you.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our websites use the following cookies and trackers:
Essential cookies required for the site to function.
Google Ads gtag.js for conversion measurement and remarketing.
Meta Pixel for conversion measurement, audience building, and remarketing.
You may disable cookies via your browser settings, but some site features may not work correctly.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). These may include:
The right to know what data we hold about you.
The right to request correction or deletion.
The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
The right to opt out of targeted advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Data Retention
We retain lead-form submissions for up to 24 months for legitimate business follow-up, after which they are deleted. Aggregated analytics and advertising-platform events may be retained longer but cannot be re-identified back to you.
7. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed storage of authentication credentials, and access controls on our databases. No system is perfectly secure; please do not transmit extraordinarily sensitive information to us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on our website.
